Any good recs for sound bars? I want to get a good one so don't want to do it on the cheap, but not interested in spending an atrocious amount of money either. I've had surround sound for many years but my new place is not conducive to that set up.

I got this one and really like it. It'll turn your house into a club. A bonus is that you won't need to buy a sub, as it has some sort of proprietary internal bass speaker that works very well.

It's listed for $740 there, but I got it on a huge sale (looks like I paid $440 for it including tax). If you can shop around and find it on a similar sale, it's worth it.

The downside is that it's huge, so you'd need to plan accordingly.

I've been running a Klipsch unit for a couple years and have been happy with it. I think I paid around $450 for it. I'm not an audiophile though.

I have this set up. Sounds fantastic and its wireless between the front and rear. Has cables from rear sub to rear speakers.

These have good sound and have the advantage of being a Sonos player. This allows you to stream anything from your phone or other device straight to the soundbar. Convenient and inexpensive.
