BIL asked me to help with his laptop since we all know that Software Dev == IT support. Anyway, he's got an HP Pavilion G7. I've been working on this thing for a bit and can't seem to nail it down.
It happens randomly after startup, and then will crash after some time. Every once in awhile it'll be stable for a few minutes. I am also trying to run the windows hotfix but when I try to open it up, it can't get very far before crashing. Tried in safemode but didn't have much luck. Is that even possible?

And here are some dumps. I tried reading into them. Mostly got errors about the memory n such, but nothing hardware-wise has changed on this thing since it came from the factory.

- ran the sfc /scannow (no issues found)
- ran the memtest nothing as well (all was good)
- tried to use CCleaner and some other malware tools but nothing found
