Fellow Nerds help me out here.

My U-Verse ingress is upstairs in my house and cannot be moved. I have no Cat-5 drops elsewhere in the house. My current network consists of a Netgear N750 in DMZ mode upstairs, bridged to another N750 downstairs in the study. The Xbox is in the living room downstairs. Here is a diagram:

I now have a Netgear R8000. It does not do bridge/repeater mode. My preference would to be to have it downstairs in the study so I purchased some Netgear 1200 powerline adapters. Then I started thinking about getting a third adapter to have the Xbox on a "wired" connection rather than wireless.

Based on the following diagram, does anyone think there would be problems between the U-Verse gateway (192.168.1.x) and the R8000 (DMZ mode, 192.168.2.x) between the three powerline adapters? If so, would static IPs on 192.168.2.x help?
