So at the end of the movie, we see Ava leaving Caleb stuck in the room while she gets on the helicopter meant for Caleb. Later, the power goes out in the house, allowing Caleb to leave. Was that Ava letting Caleb live or some sort of accident?
Also, I'm sure the helicopter pilot knew that Caleb was still in there and needed to be picked up. Maybe Ava told the pilot to fly her out and that Caleb had decided to stay a few days? If she really wanted him silenced, she would have killed him.
