I have, and its actually pretty cool. The Paul McCartney concert is great. Not something you will use all the time, but cool on occasion.

So this thing splits the screen for you manually. Can you just look at you phone showing the two videos and train one eye on one side and one eye on the other side and see 3D?

Phone is about dead from horsin around so not tryin it now but I believe that this can't work, as the secret sauce that makes this headgear do its thing isn't that you are seeing a split screen, but that you are seeing a split screen through a particular lens.
