I know... only 55" but the 70" Vizio we bought had to be returned because the picture was crap. Havent found anything else to buy yet that got me excited.

Actually a tad bit high for seated position, but I did that on purpose so when I upgrade I dont have to move the bracket.

Tough crowd in here. I think it's a great effort. You can make the tv look bigger by adding other fixtures to the wall perhaps.

The center of TVs are supposed to be mounted at eye level, speakers at ear level in the front. Slightly above that in the rear.

Just drag those chairs until they're about 2 feet from the screen. That's what I do.

Where did you decide to place all the equipment and how did you run the signal to the TV?

All the electronics are in the room on the other side of the drywall. Mac Mini, DirecTV, Xbone, and Xbox 360. Luckily the one thing that needs line of sight is the sound bar.

The pictures are 2 years apart so if it takes that long for socks to magically appear... that's a crappy trick.

The Video was E701I-A3 70 RAZOR LED SM according to my Best Buy account. I think it was a dud because the picture was awful and the reviews were pretty solid. Soured me on getting another Vizio though and since Best Buy didn't have any more in stock at that store I took my cash and ran.
