Encourage your friends to revisit the dusty resume, and examine the language. If he's a sales personality he'll want to present a lot of quantifiable information sales-related (#, $, and %). While quantification strategies are necessary for sales-related resumes, the application of quantifiable information applies to near any employment opportunity.
