Dudley Construction is currently seeking resumes for JOB SUPERINTENDENTS.
Dudley Construction is a College Station based commercial construction company specializing in open both architectural and engineering projects. With continued growth and expansion, our company is looking for capable, dependable superintendents to oversee all field construction activity from start to finish.
Individual must have solid understanding of the construction process, techniques and construction documents. Must be able to thoroughly understand and follow the plans and specifications during the construction of a project while maintaining a relationship with owner representatives, subcontractors and suppliers. The superintendent will also work closely with the project manager to ensure timely and quality completion of construction process. Individual must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project.
Responsibilities include:
-Supervise projects by coordinating client needs, construction documents and subcontractor performance
-Construction scheduling and updating throughout project
-Document daily construction activities
-Conduct weekly meeting with subs
- Prepare and distribute weekly field reports to show job progress (in conjunction with project manager)
-Must schedule delivery and pickup of equipment
-Scheduling and coordination of subcontractors and material deliveries
-Schedule and follow through all inspections and project finals
-Conduct weekly safety meetings
-Must work closely with project manager to assure all change orders and RFIs are kept up with and distributed.
-Oversee employees safety and project housekeeping
-Accurately cost code materials and in-house labor
-Oversee job specific QA/QC Plan to include needed documentation and progress photos
5+ years as construction superintendent required.
