I have spent the last 10+ years in the golf course industry serving as a Superintendent and as General Manager. I am currently looking for anything regardless of the field. I have some experience managing construction projects both on the golf course as well as overseeing some residential construction. I have sales experience via selling memberships to potential candidates. I have tons of management experience from crews of 30+ on down. I am really just looking for someone to give me a shot to prove my worth. I am not afraid of working my way up and am willing to start anywhere. I am currently located in the Katy area but would be willing to relocate.

Just a thought.

Look up commercial landscapers in your area and see if there are openings. I hear that if you apply similar customer service that you have learned on the golf course to commercial landscape users, you'll be ahead of the game (as in there is typically terrible service).

Finding a good job can be extremely challenging. Try a few job searching tools. Create LinkedIn profile. It is a powerful tool to easily connect with the right people. Perform search through nelest.com website. It helped me find my currant job. Anyway, good luck, friend!
