I work for a software company with offices in Houston, Dallas, Midland, Oklahoma City, Tulsa & Denver that caters to Oil and Gas E&P companies. We have several positions available (listing below may not be updated with needs). I've posted several times before about and it is time for a new installment. We are growing to meet demands from existing, new and potential clients. Had a conversation yesterday with some of our resource management team and they are planning to take advantage of the O&G industry layoffs to find some quality employees with solid O&G background.

We currently have a contingent of 15 Ags in a company of less than 100. 6 of those are guys I recruited via Texags and I would like to continue growing the group.

In general we are looking for people that meet one or more of the following profiles...

1. 5+ yrs Upstream O&G experience. Experience with our or competitor software is a huge plus.
2. 5+ yrs software training, QA, implementation, support, consulting, etc...

At the moment there is a strong emphasis for people with O&G experience to the point that I am not sure that non-O&G people will be considered. In speaking with the resources management team they specifically identified a need for skill sets in Land Management, Revenue Accounting, Fixed Assets and DD&A Accounting, Tax Accounting and Financial Reporting. Other potential areas we could consider are Production/Operations Analysis, Regulatory Reporting and Material Transfers.

The primary roles we will be looking for right now will be User Support, QA, Implementation and Software/Business Consulting. If you are interested in any of the positions listed or just the company in general (we may have positions available that are not listed), please contact me via PM or email (in my profile) before submitting so I can review your resume, give pointers and help make sure you get submitted to the right people.

If you have questions feel free to post, PM or email.

4 Texags resumes submitted last week. Let's find some more, especially the O&G Accounting/Revenue types.

Chjoak,

Are you willing to look at consultants for these roles? My wife's (also an Aggie) company supplies these type of candidates but isn't a kelly services or accenture. They have gone from 49 to 32 employees with $40-$50 oil and are looking at other offerings outside of the majors.

Bosses tend to prefer permanent hires. I'm sure they would be interested in hiring a few consultants if they knew their stuff.

chjoak,

Is there any chance a position can be stationed in San Antonio or maybe Austin? I have tons of revenue accounting, fixed assets and financial reporting (and much more) experience in the oilfield services industry.
