Same. GoT is Meh for me at this point. I want to finish it but I don't necessarily look forward to it.

Yup just like the one with him trying to get into the impossible packaging.
That was a pretty, pretty.......pretty great start. I like how he sort of hit a few high notes and nods to season's past as well.

Curb is absolutely deleeeeeshus.
What a great premiere. As much as I love this show, I was honestly surprised to see that no one involved missed a single beat. Felt exactly like peak Curb in all the best ways. And it was 40 minutes, too! Apparently nearly every episode is super-sized this season, and it really did feel like the ideal runtime. HBO's comedies always feel too short. If this is any indication, 40 minutes should be the new standard.
Also, I still can't get over how much of this show takes place in my neighborhood. That P.A.M. fundraiser location/restaurant is legitimately probably 50 yards from my apartment. I live right behind it. There's a CVS in the background of the valet part afterward, where Larry foists his assistant on Susie, that I walk to at least once a week. So surreal.

Great point. Watching Silicon Valley, I had always had that feeling but could never pin-point it until now!Quote:

And it's not like they're a typical network either, with commercial/time restrictions. But yeah, Silicon Valley would definitely benefit the most.
Damn I missed this show. Between constipation, lesbians, and Fatwa it made a great opening episode.
