The Castle
An Australian film about a lower-middle class family whose back yard butts up against a major airport. When the airport wants to expand, the town forces them to sell their house through eminent domain. The father of this family of lovable losers fights the city and takes it all the way to Australia's equivalent of the Supreme Court. It's freaking hilarious but extremely moving & touching at the same time.
One of my all time favorites.atag said:
I'll second green street hooligans....loved that.
My vote will always be for out cold. The only time I ever saw a movie in the theatre alone because we had just moved. Laughed my butt off and started following Zach Galifianakis comedy show after that.
Brilliant movie. And so relevant in 2020.Complete Idiot said:
Watched "A Face in the Crowd" a few years ago, it's a late 50's movie with Andy Griffith of all people. A film about politics and Charisma that is still relevant today. Even more so today than when I watched
You talking about the 80's one that was in 3D?lazuras_dc said:

Anyone else seen Knockaround Guys with Vin Diesel, Seth Green, Barry Pepper, John Malkovich and Dennis Hopper? Lots of big names, but definitely seems under the radar. It was the first R rated movie I ever snuck into and maybe that's why I still love it.
