excellent movie. Set in Uganda, based on true story. So many good things about it.

Can't recommend it enough for family.

It was incredible! I was lucky to attend an advanced screening with David Oyelowo, Lupita Nyong'o and the director Mira Nair speaking on a panel discussion afterwards. Got some amazing insights from that regarding the direction they took and how it was pretty much all local talent.

There may be a couple scenes that are uncomfortable for a 7 year old, but the lessons learned are worthwhile.

Took kids younger than 7 and didn't see anything I'd consider to be innapropriate.
