Brutal season premiere. Did the comics justice.
Nice twist of adding an extra death. Should of taken at least 1 more to prune the cast a bit more.

I wasn't sold on Jeffery Dean Morgan as Neagan after the season finale. He knocked it outta the park (...snicker) here in the premier.

Last season, when Rick and the group attacked the Saviors satellite fortress, there was a bunk room with Polaroids of victims with their heads smashed in, just like Abraham and Glenn....foreshadowing.

Perhaps one of the most sinister and intelligent villains I have seen on a show. I feel like throwing up and it is definitely going to be interesting to see how the group overcomes this. They are outmanned, have no idea where his base of operations is, and cannot mess up anything small out of fear for Daryl. Negan has for the moment put them in a perfect bind.

I almost thought negan was dumb for not just taking rick out due to the fact that he is the leader, but breaking him down and humiliating him might ensure that the entire town stays in line instead of a rebellion born out of their leader being killed.

Really messed up but intelligent villain.

They eyeball and the quivering body with a pile of mush brains might be the most brutal thing I've ever seen on tv.

AND I ****ING LOVED IT. Not in a sick way. In a opening scene of Saving Private Ryan way. That movie scene had me gripping my seat, and this episode did the same.
