Has anyone checked this series out yet? Set in the 70s about a vet coming home and ending up as a hitman. Watched the first episode and it looks promising.

This show has really kept me interested. They seem to have the time period down pretty well. It has the feel of a 70's movie as well. The drama, tension, and action in in episode at the motel was great.

Good through the first 4 episodes. Not near as slick as Season 2 of Fargo, but it has plenty of kooky characters to keep it interesting.

I agree. A lot more people would probably be in tune on this series if it was on say HBO. Only reason I came across it was reading in the paper on up coming series and it had good reviews and it caught my eye that it's based on a series of books. I also like the Marine background being a former Devil Dog myself.

i loved banshee (until the final season) so this seems like its right up my alley.
