So the season premier is tonight. I haven't watched since I saw part of season 4 when it was the circus theme. I felt like that was just bad tv, but I figured I'd give it another try tonight as I'm a sucker for a horror story.

Anyone have a theory about what the theme is this year?

They should just make 43 commercials instead of a show. They're much better at commercials.

I skipped most of seasons 3,4 and 5. I ****ing hated last season, watched 3 episodes and it never caught me. Hopefully this season is watchable

I skipped season 2, most of 4, and all of 5. The first season was obviously the best, but I actually liked season 3 too.

I'm hoping this grabs the best parts of 1 and 3. We'll know after tonight

Watched all of season 1 and first half of season 2 where wheels went off track. Watched most of season 3, not bad. Season 4 lost me very quick. Watched about half of season 5 and then final episode, don't think missed much. Probably watch first 1 or 2 episodes of season 6 and decide quick.

Season 5 was actually pretty decent. I think their campaign for this season is brilliant, and am sure their first 2 episodes will be good....and then it'll hit the typical AHS slump.

I've seen them all and will stay on the wagon. I loved 1 and 3. 5 was good. The other two were trash. Hoping they don't stay on the every other season is watchable trend.

Okay this show might have just revived itself. Awesome first episode. Definitely would rate this first episode better than any of the previous seasons premiers.

I got through the first 30 minutes or so and loved it. Much better premise and theme than the last few years. Will be finishing this one up and definitely catching the next one. Already set the dvr for the series

That first episode was really good. An air of suspense is back that has been missing since season 1. Hopefully, they keep it up.

Fan theories are already out. People are saying that the protagonists are so calm because they are already dead. The person they are talking to may be the psychic from season 1.

I liked it. I haven't watched and three seasons. Got a little creeped out a few times from the standpoint of I live alone and being in a house like that hearing those noises would freak me out. Not sure I understand the Roanoke connection with North Carolina since it was in Virginia but maybe I'm taking is too literally. We'll see where it goes.

When Shelby was home alone the first time and was walking down the hall with a glass of wine, 2 women in what appeared to be nurses' uniforms passed by. Were those the same nurses that were killed by the serial killer in season 2?
