Rewatching now. Season 1 gets better every time I watch. Louis as the cop was really one of the all time greats. I also really love Season 1 April.
Actually, wait. Those things are so great because they're Season 2. Oops.
On the rewatch, I caught a new detail. The first time Leslie meets Tammy 2, at her office in the library, there is a shelf of books labeled "Approved." Titles include:
- Sperm Suicide
- Woman War III
- A Woman's Worth
- Take His Balls and Go Home
- Man Putty (I think that's what it says...)
- Controlling the Male Mind
On the shelf marked "Rejected" there is:
- Power in Your Pants

I remember in the episode where she goes on a date with Will Arnett's character, when she gets the X-Rays done, he makes a comment about how she could have triplets right off the bat.
After the rewatch I've got to sat Barney. His character id's hilarious.

Loved that Dan Castellenetta is on the show.
The Sapperstein family is probably the best of the side characters.
But with that said, the show creators did a fantastic job of making a town that has a very strong Springfield (Simpsons) vibe where anything wacky and unnecessary is believable in context of the show.

Random - I've been rewatching and looked up what else Perd Hapley (Jay Jackson) has been in. Turns out he pretty much always plays a reporter or newscaster.
