Russ definitely borrows from Cuban, but the third isn't totally accurate. Cuban bought the Mavs and has done a great job with them and has had success with other investments too. His net worth has climbed from ~1 billion to 3 over the past decade and a half, a time period that spans a horrible recession, so he's not doing too badly.

Also, I got the opportunity to meet and talk to Mark Cuban a few years ago at Normathon. I realize to the world he comes off as a ****** or a frat boy at times, especially the way he talks on camera. He talks like he knows everything and he jokes too much. But at that radio event, he treated everyone who was there like one of his buddies. For example I wanted his autograph but had forgotten to bring a book or even a sheet of paper with me, so the only thing I could find in my car was a cardboard boxtop. A lot of billionaires probably would have sneered or made fun of signing that, but all he said was "this reminds me of the box I had to live in when I first moved to Dallas." He deprecated himself, which is not something a lot of rich people do.

Anyway, I know he's hated by a lot of people, some of its earned with his sports opinions. But he seems like an A-OK guy in my book. Give me 1000 Mark Cubans over 1 Donald Trump.
