Vacation hits theaters on July 29.

It looks like the comedy will be pretty similar to 21 jump street. I love the meta jokes about this vacation will stand on its own.

Love that they made it rated R like the first one was. And love the "I've never even heard of the original Vacation" joke.

I just wish they could've figured out a way to put Cousin Eddie in there.

But which original Rusty and Audrey? They were different in all four original movies. I like the casting.

Original = the first.

i just don't feel it with Helms in this role.

I'll see it. But it seems a little edgier than the original. I've seen the original countless times and I love it each time. I guess they have to edge it up. The most endearing thing about the first one is that it had heart. There's just something innocent and pure about the movie despite the tits, the corpse abuse, white trash and attempted infidelity. There is no way that it will be on par with the original. I kind of worry that it will end up like all the other attempts at rebooting classic comedies.

Best to Worst Movies:

1. European Vacation. I know European Vacation is panned by critics, but I really enjoy that one
2. Christmas Vacation. While it has become a tradition to watch at Christmas, I am just about sick of Christmas Vacation.
3. Vegas Vacation was really terrible, but I can still watch it.
4. I haven't seen the Cousin Eddie movies.

Which Russ and Audrey are the best?

I'd have to say that for Russ, it is a tie between Vacation and European. There's something that I very much hate about the European Russ but also makes me like him a lot.

I also hate the European Audrey, but that doesn't make me like her.

I think Vegas Audrey is hottest. But, Vacation Audrey is the best.

European Audrey was just nasty and pathetic.

There IS something very likeable about European Russ, but I'll have to say that my favorites are the originals.

Both original Audrey and Vegas Audrey are hot. Christmas Audrey ain't bad.

Original Rusty and Vegas Rusty are both cool. I think Vegas Rusty (aka Mr. Papagorgio) may be my favorite though. Christmas Rusty is just kinda there.

Not a fan of European Vacation, neither the movie nor the kids. Audrey - kill it with fire.

I am still fond of European Vacation when Russ meets that girl in Germany. Right before Clark nearly gets lynched.

Looks funny, I hate how many punch lines they ruined in the trailer though.

The original original.

I prefer Vacation and European because the kids are older than I was when I saw it. Christmas and Vegas they were younger.

But hell, I am older now than Clark in the original.

I kinda wish they had gone with Sedakis instead of Helms.

I'm sure this is whichever studios response to We're the Millers 2. It seems like the studios get in these kind of pissing matches all the time.

This has been in the works for at least 5 years.

And the we're the millers movies haven't? Im not being snarky, im genuinely curious.

I have a feeling those who never saw the originals at least have a chance of liking this. I don't think I have a chance.
