You realize that you just described the typical "got married the day we graduated college" couple?

Just finished watching. Really liked it. I predicted Kyoko was a machine like the first time she showed up. Never could really tell when Nathan was being truthful or not. Do you think he really had the techs killed that set up his network? I could buy it.
Thought Ava was pretty believable. Typical chick that falls for the first guy she meets, gets all clingy and then goes stone cold toward him when she has access to a larger world.
Honestly, that dude should not have fallen for it. Did he think they were going to live happily ever after or was he just trying to be her hero? I guess he was going to buy her a bunch of turtle necks?
quote:Easily a sequel - too many unanswered questions there. I am curious to see the next act and find out more about Ava's intentions.
Could this movie serve as a platform to launch a trilogy? I'd like to see it.

Yep. Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in December.

Just watched, pretty much went into it blind. Wow it was good.
I got a question for Yall though.
Spoiler***
At the very last shot, did anyone else get the impression that Ava was going back for Caleb? It seemed like she got to the intersection, frowned, and then started heading back the way she came. I just didn't know if anybody else had interpreted it that way.
quote:Got around to watching this and loved it, great sci-fi flick!
Just saw on Redbox and I loved it! Pretty cool to consider that Ava was neither good nor bad. She was programmed a certain way and acted accordingly.
My one question is: why did Kyoko assist Ava? I assumed she was programmed solely as a servant. Or did all the robots have an "innate" urge to escape.

Watched this finally. I really thought it was fantastically done. Very thought provoking.

TY for heads up on this hitting prime video. I have a weekend without wife and kids coming up, and I am going to knock one out to Alicia Vikander.

Well, I'll grill a steak and pour a nice glass of bourbon and see where things go then.
