Rush announced a new tour and it includes Dallas and Houston!

I have big decision to make. They are in Tampa on a Sunday so I would have to drive back to Tallahassee that night to be at work on Monday or I skip it and wait to see what AC/DC tour schedule is

Houston ticket prices $151, $96, $66, $46

They say this will likely be their last major tour. Saw them in Houston and Austin last time. Last show before and first show after the HOF induction.

This is the Final Tour. I just feel it in my heart.

They had so many concerns doing this tour I am actually surprised.

Neil has complained that the drumming is getting even more physically demanding as he gets older and he voiced concern about leaving his 5 year old daughter for extended periods.

Alex has been receiving treatment and drug therapy for what he calls pretty severe arthritis in his hands.

Geddy has been gung ho to tour but we all know his voice has taken a huge hit through the years.

So if you are going to see them do it in '15.

If I go this will be the 14th time I have seen them live.

(Geddy said in a recent interview that "it'd be cool" to play Hemispheres. Fingers crossed.)

I have seen some interviews with Geddy that seem to suggest they would play some deeper tracks.

If it's their last go round ( and I think it probably is) they should go out guns blazing with te stuff that made Rush who they were. I would love to see stuff from Hemispheres, Permanent Waves. Play all of side A of 2112. End with By-Tor and the Snow Dog except let By-Tor kick Snow Dogs ass, drop the guitars and just walk off stage.

Wife has a horse show the day Rush is in Tampa. I have been given permission to go on my own. Long day will be had. TLH-Tampa then back to TLH at work by 9 am. It is about 3.5 hour drive back but I can't miss this show

$151. On that presale website I had to try the top floor option twice to get a ticket.

Not unreasonable for very close seats.

Back in the day, all the tickets were the same price and scalpers would be charging "$151" for those types of seats....so it all works out now.

Awesome zgood! Yeah keep trying on that site, people hold tickets then release them so keep trying over and over until hopefully you find some. Good luck, this is gonna be epic!

Not that I'm complaining, but it was crazy loud on the floor in December 2012. Might have to bring some earplugs just in case.

What songs are on your wish list? I want to hear an all instrumental set that includes "YYZ", "leave that thing alone","main monkey business", and "la villa strangiato". Would also enjoy Cygnus X-1: Book II , Lakeside Park (love the bass line), Losing It, 2112. (All of it), Lessons, Twilight Zone, and most importantly..Xanadu.

Any kind of medley like they did for R30 would be awesome. Otherwise, La Villa, The Pass, Natural Science, Main Monkey Biz, Territories (again), Clockwork Angels (song).

Plus many classics. Xanadu would be awesome.

I wish they would have done the "Main Monkey Biz" at the RRHOF.

I thought that would have been perfect to show where they came from to where they are now.

I love that song.

"Kid Gloves." I want to hear that solo live. The title track from "A Farewell to Kings," too.

I'd love to hear other S&A tracks (not named Far Cry or MMB), like Spindrift or Working Them Angels.

I kept trying for 3 in the back part of the floor. Never could get it. Could do 2 but not 3. Guess I wait until Jan 30. I picked up really good seats abou 15 rows up straight out from the stage last time so maybe I will get lucky again.

Will they go on sale at 12:01AM on the 30th or will it be later in the day?
