Funny, the first time I watched Joe vs The Volcano, I turned it off within the first ten minutes. They did such a good job portraying the mundane life Joe was living, that I couldn't watch it. Gave it another shot years later. It is a good movie.

The jazz/blues cover of Sixteen Tons in the background is brilliant for that scene.

Toy Story is probably my favorite movie with Tom Hanks but its not really a Tom Hanks movie. Big would probably be my choice for "Tom Hanks" movie. I loved Captain Phillips as well.

There are few things better that Tom Hanks yelling. A League of Their Own has some great examples. The scene where he hits Stillwell in the face with the glove is one of the funniest ever.
