I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for books like either of these as they have been my best reads lately. I was hoping to find something along the lines of a nonfiction treasure hunt.

Shadow Divers - I liked it for the u-boat history and the "treasure" hunting aspect. Was hoping to find something similar in those regards. I've already read Das Boot which is another favorite.

Unbroken was amazing and I actually just finished Don't Give Up, Don't Give In today (came out yesterday). I recommend it if you haven't - it's Louie Zamperini's personal essays, advice in book form.

Any help in finding something like these would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ship of Gold in the Deep Blue Sea.

Huge treasure find on the wreck of the SS Central America. There's been some drama in the years since the book came out, too.

If you liked Unbroken, you should also check out Tears in the Darkness: The Story of the Bataan Death March and Its Aftermath.

Like Unbroken it is very good, but not exactly light reading.

I put Unbroken in the same category as Flags Of Our Fathers and Flyboys by James Bradley.
