And yes I agree about the "Noir" feel.

Noir and Neo-Noir are two of my favorite sub-genre's, and L.A. always seems like the best place to capture that feeling. This and Drive are the two best Neo-Noir films I've seen in recent memory, and not surprisingly both are set there.

Great movie!

Finally saw it last night. Loved it but felt a tad unsettled leaving the theater. I agree the preview showed WAY too much from the final sequence and I feel like that took away slightly from the surprise of it all.

Did anyone get a Talented Mr. Ripley vibe from this one? Intelligent sociopath, ruthless and always a step ahead.

Jake's performance was incredible. I found it extremely quotable. Loved the (often one sided) dialogue between Louis and Nina.
