Bullitt and Ronin (both of them) are always co-leaders for me. Even though in the former they pass that green VW Bug at least twice within a minute.

Saw a special on the second chase in Ronin. That look on DeNiro's face was genuine fear.

Both Blues Brothers chases are in a class by themselves.

It's not really a chase scene, but I am surprised Le Mans (the Steve McQueen film) hasn't been mentioned. The start of race is something else. Porsche 917k's and a 917L, Ferrari 512S's, Porsche 908's, Corvettes, Porsche 911's, etc.

I vote for Bullit as well, great scene. It's funny to go back and watch too if any of you have spent much time in SF; they will turn the corner down at the marina and will all of a sudden be in the mission for a few blocks, and then race around another corner into Noe Valley. It's actually very impressive editing to make it look so seamless.
