Very odd move. She's now plain looking. You spend a lot of time and effort being a recognizable, familiar face...then go and do this?

This makes me sad. I grew up with Renee from elementary school through senior year (Katy High).
She stayed normal for SO long after making it big in Hollywood. I remember seeing her on Letterman several years after Jerry McGuire and she was still same 'ol Renee. I thought she was going to be one if the few that didn't whack out.

A couple of years after that was when she married some country star for 5 minutes and had this weird wedding that I remember reading about and thinking "hmm...".

About a year after that I heard she had hired real life ghostbusters to de-haunt some mansion she bought in the Hamptons.

I guess it happens to all of them when they get out there in la-la land for too long.

You know she's bound to know she made a mistake. Not one person she meets is going to recognize her. And they're not going to be able to hide that they don't think it's an improvement. That's going to take a massive toll.

Frankly, it may not help her career, but I think she looks a hell of a lot more normal now. The puffy cheeks and eyes were getting annoying and more pronounced as she got older. She was becoming a caricature of herself.

So the movie "face off" comes to life.

She probably figured she needed to do something. Looks like she has a movie coming out in 2015 but hasn't been in anything besides that since 2010.

I think she looks better and can still say its Renee.
