I haven't watched a Pixar movie since Toy Story 3. Cars 2, Brave, and Monsters University all felt like they were lacking that truly unique Pixar magic. I have no idea if Inside Out - their next effort - will be more like those, or more like, say, Wall-E (the last non-sequel Pixar movie I truly loved), but this teaser trailer at least gives me hope. It's pretty simple, and definitely more of a tease, but I LOVE the way it incorporates past Pixar movies as part of the hook. Definitely makes this one feel a little more special than their last few efforts.

Pixar's Inside Out hits theaters on June 19.

I liked it. It reminds me of an ride/attraction they used to have at Epcot for years where you were inside the head of a teenager.

Looks intriguing. I'm sure the kiddoes will want to see it.

Could be good, Pixar has never really advertised their epic movies to how epic they actually were, so it's hard to judge them based on teasers, so we'll see. I hope Pixar has found some of that old magic again.

Brave was good not great, though I loved Monsters University.

Toy Story 3 was awesome. Definitely better than 2.

Pixar needs to stop messing around and make The Incredibles 2, already!

Bill Hader (Fear), Mindy Kaling (Disgust), Amy Poehler (Joy), Phyllis Smith (Sadness), AND Lewis Black (Anger) are voicing the voicing the emotions. I think each one is perfect for their role.

I'm at the point though where no matter what, if Bill Hader is attached to a product, I'm there!

I know it is a teenager but that is a lot of negative emotions compared to one positive one. Curious how that will play out because I certain we will see cutouts to the events in the real world that will be a secondary plot as well.

So Pixar is doing a movie based on the tv show Herman's Head?

I admit, I love Pixar movies. I buy them for my daughter but I might like them more than her.

That was a commercial for Pixar, but I'll still watch it.

Also, Toy Story 3 is the closest I've gotten to tears in a theater since probably forever.

The King's Speech was great, but definitely shouldn't have won. That said, as good as Toy Story 3 was, NO WAY it should have beat The Social Network, the clear choice in retrospect.

Looks like they got a little lazy in the animation department

Someone on that link posted that Leaked Films dot Net has the entire movie posted. Any validity to that website? I checked it and it asks you to download a player to view the film. I have heard of the site, but have never personally visited it until now.

There is 0% chance that the full film has leaked.

It is an animated film slated to come out next June.

If Pixar had already completed the entire film ,why would they wait until next June to release it?

Animation takes a LOOOOOOOONG time to do, especially when its done well like they do at Pixar. They will milk every last precious second until release to complete it.

It may be a story of how joy/happiness is more powerful than all of the many negative emotions.

Seemed kind of trite for Pixar to go the hacky 'clueless moron dad' route.

I didn't get that from the trailer at all. Any married guy has at least once tuned out his kid or wife or both at some point. You can only listen to so much... Talking.

I'm sure someone is already playing with it, but it doesn't seem like it would take a lot of work to make that trailer into a really disturbing take on mental illness.

I agree. It looks like the kid is going to be very suicidal.

Yeah if this wasn't animated pixar movie, it could really dark and touch on a little of really deep emotional issues we see in teenagers. It's really thin line to flirt with if they head that direction.
