Anyone watch the season premiere last night? I am late to the BBT watching world and was introduced to it back in April when a coworker let me borrow Season 1 and since then I have watched all the seasons and episodes and actually finally finished the last 2 episodes of Season 7 last night in time to catch the 2 new episodes. (Between work and family, it was hard to watch 7 seasons in a short time hence the long time frame). I liked the Where's Sheldon episode quite a bit and the 2nd episode was entertaining but seemed a bit lacking. I love the show though and I'm glad that I am all caught up. I didn't like Penny's hair at all but thought it was funny they made a joke about it. Thoughts?

I agree. Short hair works on Martina McBride and Halle Berry and that might be about it.

They changed the night this season. I thought the episodes were good, but agree Penny looks terrible. I don't know why women cut their hair short, all men I have ever talked to hate it. Only other women say it looks good, stylish or whatever. Horrible idea.

Because women dress for other women more so than men. But I agree, it's bad.

It doesn't fit her character. I know she cut in real life, but it doesn't fit penny.

good thing is, hair does grow and these episodes were filmed probably about 1 - 2 months ago, so it will probably grow out during the season.

But it was funny they mentioned it several times, especially how it would bother Sheldon ... which it did.

edit: just saw a clip of her that aired yesterday on a talk show and her hair looked like it had been cut again... bleh.

When I saw it on Instagram, it was more flared out and I though looked good.

On the show, it had a very "boyish" comb. It didn't look good on her.

agree. I think it's more the way she had it styled on the show. it's definitely blonder now too.

don't get me wrong, she's a beautiful girl and she can certainly pull it off, but still don't think it fits the penny character...

Put me in the camp that likes the short hair.

I don't like it much either but I'd still bang the sheet out of her.

I dont mind it, but it makes her neck look extraordinary long.

I don't dig the haircut but I thought the episodes were great.

Moved to Monday during football season. Then back to Thursday.

the part where he said he wanted to have coitus with amy was funny as he was only testing her hearing...

I hope they have drunk Sheldon again this year, loved that episode where Penny's dad and he bonded over football and beer.

I could actually get behind nasa big bang theory

My only complaint about the hair would be less of a grip to hold on to. Seeing as how I don't get that privilege, I'm pretty ambivalent about the hair and will still enjoy the rest of the view.

I think she looks great with the short hair, but I adore her and think she looks beautiful period.

Her short hair is atrocious. Bernadette has pole vaulted her until she grows it back out. Literally miss lines in the show just looking at how much I hate her hair. Of course I hate short hair on all women and my wife knows to never go above the shoulders.

Also, this Monday's episode was meh. Nothing stood out.

I like Howard unveiling the Mars rover. I thought "man, what a good idea". Then when it started slowly rolling, I laughed my ass off.


Otherwise, I was pretty "meh" about more Lenard/Penny relationship drama.

this episode was pretty good. that redhead is smoking. The interaction between Howard and Stuart is still pretty good but I feel like they need to go somewhere with it soon. Sheldon's financial discussion with Amy was great.

Nothing epic but as always, I enjoyed the episode. It was pretty funny (and typical) when both girls worked out their problems but after the door shut whispered they hated each other lol.
