I agree about Jennifer Lawrence. I think she is a good actress, but it felt like she was overacting in a few of the scenes.

I can see the criticism of her performance. The only credit we can give is how much of a mess Katniss is in the book. She hasn't a clue... Even in the end when her last arrow flies she's not sure. Gotta be hard to act all that out when in the book we had the benefit of being told in 1st person.

I can overlook it when the rest of the cast was so good. Hoffman was great, and Effie's role in the flick was handled perfectly. Also can't get enough of poor Haymitch! His prohibition line had me LOL in the theater (he had multiple lines that were great, some of which weren't in the book).
