A quick word about Freddie Gibbs & Madlib. These tracks are all off a March album titled Pinata. I missed it the first time around, and I'm kind of obsessed with it at the moment. It'll definitely be on my Top 10 of 2014 list, and probably in the argument alongside Schoolboy Q's 2014 offering and Run Tha Jewels 2 for best rap album of the year. If you like rap at all, I recommend you give it a shot. By way of an FYI, I'll add that Madlib is also known for Madvillainy of Madvillain/MF Doom fame

That's good to hear. I first heard Gibbs about 10-11 and really liked him and a few of his tracks. Probably the first time in a while of someone that reminded me of mid 90's East Coast rap. The struggle, the man, the drug game, with great rappin ability all come together. Then he kind of dissapeared, or I lost track. So when I saw he was at FFF fest I was happy. I'll need to revisit this guy and check out the new album. Run the Jewels might be hard to beat.

It's just a really solid album across the track list. El-P's production is also really smooth, and pretty much everyone that's heard Killer Mike loves him. Add on top that it was released for free so more people have it, and there you go.
