Anyone else have a boss/co-worker/friend/family member that constantly mispronounces words...seemingly on purpose?

For instance, saying "tex" instead of "text", or "pitcher" instead of "picture". Or the classic "axe" instead of "ask"...

Any other ones that semi-annoy you?

Nobody in particular, but "libary" annoys me to no end.

I also have one friend that pronounces both as "bulth".

I worked with a woman who pronounced everything correctly with the exception of the word "document" she pronounced it like "doe-que-mint"

For some reason she pronounced this one word incorrectly every ****ing time.

Buht-en instead of buttun for the word 'button'. Like they stop the satisfying 't' sound in the middle.

So annoying.

I think it is a northern thing.

I had a boss who wrote "you all" as "you'll" in emails......Also, he didn't put a period and then a space at the end of his sentences....................He just put a bunch of periods like this.
