Y'all heard of this thing? It supposedly predicts the gender of babies based on the month of year and mothers age at conception.

It can't be 100% based solely on boy/girl twins. But how accurate is it? Seems like there would be zero science behind it but on my small sample size of about 20 people its been accurate. At what point is it not coincidence and this thing is actually partially accurate?

It seems to be correct a lot more often than incorrect. But that's driving me crazy becasue there is no science behind it. There just can't be.

We used a Farmers Almanac for livestock breeding. It definitely worked better than you'd guess.

It has a 50-50 chance of being correct and was 1 for 2 on my kids. There's a poll on babycenter.com on whether or not the prediction was accurate and results show 29% reported it was while 33% reported it was not.

38% voted they didn't know because they didn't yet know the sex of the baby. Not sure why they would even vote or have that option. Dumb.

Maybe it's more accurate if you're Chinese. But that brings up more questions. Do you have to be ethnically Chinese or just a Chinese citizen? Maybe there's something about the geographic location and it's accurate for anyone who conceives in China. But then is it present-day China or China as it existed when the chart was created? Are Taiwan and Tibet included?

Any Chinese people here want to weigh in?
