I dropped well over a grand for dinner for two at French Laundry. Would do it again, too.

But I had to get to Napa Valley to do that in the first place.

I've also road tripped to Oxford and Auburn. Driving trips. **** the airlines and the 12th Man. Stay in the Royal Sonesta one night on the way out of Texas, and stay 2 nights on the way back into Texas.

Dinner at Gallitoires after the Auburn win last year.

That dinner bill put a hurt on me. Might have been close to 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Marshawn Lynch in OT was killer. That was going to be fun night out.

My wife usually doesn't want the escort going to dinner with us.

Depends on the night out. Might be beers and tacos at the ice house for cheap.

Might be a nice dinner followed by drinks (possibly a show and a hotel room depending on beverages imbibed and expected overnight loudness) which will get into the hundreds range.

Might be full-on NYCing or Vegasing, in which case all bets are off. If its NYCing, there is half a chance I will wake up on the Lexington avenue line somewhere above 110th street at about 2 in the afternoon to the stares of confused vietnamese octogenarians. Those nights get spendy.

I'd say if we're going to the bars, $50-100. Most I've ever spent is ~$800
