I am buying a sit/stand desk from here. This place is huge and there is a ton of things you can buy, even food! What the GB consensus? Is this place awesome or does it suck? I think I'm going to like this desk.

IKEA essentially has two classes or merchandise:

  • Inexpensive and ****ty or mediocre quality
  • Higher priced and good quality

Their solid wood furniture is of much superior quality to the particle board stuff. I have several nice solid wood pieces of IKEA furniture in my house. They look great and are high quality. They were definitely worth paying a higher price.

Went in there for the first time ever a few weeks ago. Knew exactly what I wanted going in, didn't stop to look at much else, but still took me 1.5 hours and had to wait in multiple lines to get my crap.

Their curtains are solid. They do have some nicer wood pieces.

I see how they make college dorm furniture useful.

Their bowls cups silverware etc aren't bad.
