The roads started flooding a few streets away from me. Hoping it stays on the streets, but picked up my great grandmothers coffee table off the floor just to be safe
Apparently 50,000 centerpoint customers without power already. That didn't take long.
It has been pretty bad here in Kingwood. I finally got my daughter asleep and checked out the front window to see the street flooded and water about 1/4 the way up my driveway. I checked a few minutes ago since it's let up some (still raining) and I saw something in my driveway and thought "WTF is that." Looked a bit closer and it's the cover to my water thing, so the water as receded some.

Almost 5 inches at my house in New Territory in Sugar Land. Couldn't get out of my cul-de-sac right now. My water meter lid is floating in the street. Back yard is a lake.
So I gave up on tv and I am trying to lull myself to sleep between the strobe show outside and the thunder.
Just a chill, lazy rainfall here in the Nasa area...so far.
Tried to take the new pup out to pee but he NOPED the hell out of that though. I think Im just going to have to deal with him leaking inside while kicking myself for not having bought puppy pads yet.

I'm in the same area. Luckily our streets are draining pretty well and nothing looks like it will flood in my neighborhood

Outrageous MUD taxes worth every penny so far. Lots of rain, but my yard and street are draining like a champ. So far, so good.
I bet my house guy doesn't show up for the warranty call in the morning.
The maid AND the butler wanted to go home early here in River Oaks. This weather is ruining my life.
