I have a chl and personally I don't think I would ever open carry. I like it concealed

A lot of states have it........some surprising states too.

Guns are scary because, unfortunately, you can be a total ****ing idiot and still purchase one. In case you haven't noticed, total ****ing idiots outnumber responsible adults by a wide margin. I am not going to be comfortable when some moron walks into the local Baskin Robbins with a 9 hanging off his hip while I get my small children some ice cream. I would like to enjoy my kids and not feel like I can't take my eyes off the "look at me, I'm wearing a gun" ****head.

There is a special kind of idiot in society that wants attention and will do anything to get it. These morons are going to strap on a gun whereas before they didn't bother because the gun had to be hidden. No shock value with a hidden gun.

I just don't see how this is a good idea. I'll keep mine in my boot and you do the same.

Alot of fear over nothing. I see people open carry on occasion out here in eastern OR and nobody pays them any attention. I imagine once it's passed in tx you'll see a possible uptick in folks exercising open carry, but the new will wear off.

I'd still prefer to carry concealed, but have zero issue with open carry. Personally I don't like to advertise.

Same here. I'll probably never open carry, but I will probably carry OWB a larger gun during the winter when I won't be taking my jacket off.
