Not bad. The gun story Kevin told was incredible.
quote:
Although the family wrestling patriarch Fritz Von Erich lived to the age of 68, he unfortunately buried five of his six sons, three by suicide. The firstborn son, Jack Jr., died at the age of six from electrocution. In 1984, David Von Erich, who was being groomed to be the next NWA world champion, died in Japan from acute enteritis of the upper intestine. Mike, Chris and Kerry all committed suicide within a span of six years. Kevin Von Erich is the lone surviving child of Jack and Doris Adkisson. With the obvious exception of Jack Jr., all the sons followed their father into the family wrestling business.
Currently a third generation of Von Erichs has entered wrestling. Kerry's daughter, Lacey, has worked on television for both the WWE and TNA while Kevin's sons, Marshall and Ross, have recently performed in the squared circle. In spite of the events, some might say curse, that have befallen the family, the Von Erich legacy seems poised to carry on their grandfather's famous name well into the 21st century.
