Ray Liotta is it in as someone named Lorca. Crispin Glover plays Mosley Baker, Jeffery Dean Morgan is Deaf Smith. Jeff Fahey got off the island in Lost to play Thomas Rusk.

Multi-time Academy Award winner Jake Busey is also in it.

His portrayal of the religious fanatic in Contact won him his first Best Supporting Actor Oscar. Great teeth.

At first glance I thought the guy playing Santa Anna looked extremely young.

He was 42 at the time of the Revolution. The actor playing him is actually 49.

It looks good and I love how they followed along the lines of the last Alamo movie with Billy Bob and Dennis Quaid as far as costume design. So many times, Hollywood paints with broad strokes on how folks actually looked, spoke, and dressed back then. This is the "West" however, most settlers came from the east where top hats, long coats with tails, and a very European fashion style was more prevalent. Not the picture painted when you throw an actor in a Stetson bought at Cavenders and tell him to "talk like a hick".

Bill Paxton is from Ft. Worth. I like Texans who appreciate our heritage and do a good job getting it right on the big screen. I'm sure he'll do as good as Houston native, Dennis Quaid did.

Watching the trailer just gave me a raging boner.

I liked how they scripted the dialogue in Deadwood. I'd like to see more of that.
