How long is a reasonable amount of time for a person to find employment? I have a friend who transferred out of state over eight months ago and his wife still hasn't found employment. She's the type of person who has exercise equipment in the living room that has clothes stacked on top of it.

It took me ~6 months to find a job after I was laid off in February 2009.
Seems like after 8 a.m., you should be focused on #business.

To answer your question, eight months is entirely too long if she is just looking for a job vs a specialized higher end career.
