I'm stuck in a Holiday for most of the next 4 weeks.

It has free WiFi, but of course you have to go past the agreement page on the hotel's site which is problematic.

Is there a way around this?

I should mention I have my laptop with Windows 7 and my iPhone. Not sure if something on these devices can help me work around this or not.

I have googled the issue but I'm apparently about a tech savvy as an 80 year old grandma. The suggestions were mostly over my head. I just plug things in an expect them work work.

Setup an ad hoc network and share your laptop's connection with the Roku. This should get you around their sign in page.

I'm guessing that "I'm not a computer nerd, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night" thing isn't going to work here.

The simplest solution is to go to Walmart and get a travel router (assuming the hotel also has free wired internet).

Turn that on and then connect the roku to the internet via your laptop.

Yup, I'm not computer nerd, but I am staying at a hoiday in express the next 4 weeks.
