Brazier did not advance to the semi-finals. Pushed too hard at 500m, did not get top 3 in heat or the next 4 fastest times.

Cost himself a lot of money by not advancing. A week after the NCAAs he was still talking about going to world juniors. Hope Shelbi Vaughan does better coming up later.

Didn't get a chance to watch it, but just looking at the splits it looks like he didn't push the 1st 400 hard enough. Too late to run Jrs. now.

Looks like Shelbi should easily advance to the finals, sitting at 4th in qualifying

What is going on with our pole vaulters since the SEC meet? Congrats to Shelbi Vaughan, she beat 3 of her competitors who beat her at the NCAA meet. Natosha Rogers was 13th in the 10K.

Vaughan finished second but I don't think her throw met the Olympic qualifying standard for the the Women's discus. Standard is 61 meters and she was 60.something. Not sure where she goes from here.

The top three persons in each event qualifies for the Olympics once they have the qualifying standard. The qualifying period for Olympic qualification is May 1, 2015 to July 11, 2016. So even though Shelbi did not get the qualifying standard at this trials, she would have had the standard several times from May 2015 to now. Shelbi is on her way to Rio

Sam Humphreys was 5th in the javelin. If he had the A standard he'd be going to Rio as the guy who finished 11th had the A standard and he is going to Rio.

Why is Grant shown as DQed from 400mH?

Looked like his trail leg on the 5th or 6th hurdle did not come over the top.

Pretty good day for the Aggies. Audrey Malone, Maggie Malone, Shamier Little, Ameer Webb, and Devin Jenkins all through to the next round. Tough DQ for Robert Grant. Does the USATF not like Shamier, giving her lane 2? I think that was the first race for Jenkins since before the SEC meet. He never got the baton in the 4X100 relay for his anchor leg at the NCAA meet.

Forgot to mention Ricky Babineaux advancing in the 400 hurdles.

Ricky Babineaux and Ameer Webb looked good in their races and kept alive their Rio hopes. Kamaria Brown and Jeneba Tarmoh got through in the 200.

Somewhat A&M related, Jeron Robinson (Kingsville) did not advance in the high jump. Saw him jump 7-04.25 with ease at the Rice Twilight meet this year.

Amber Webb looking good bit all of a sudden the 200m fuel is stacked with two HS kids showing out and Lashawn Merritt looking like a guy that could pull the double in Rio

Annie Kunz got a PR on the long jump of 6.02m (19-9). Still in 7th place with 4510 pts

Interesting that Ricky Babineaux who just felt short of making the team in the 400 hurdles, (I am pretty sure) never ran that event as an Aggie...strictly ran the open sprints and relays.
