Coverage of Track & Field NCAA Championship Celebration

Pat Henry and his National Champion Men's and Women's Track and Field teams arrived at the Cox-McFerrin Center just a couple minutes after 6pm on Sunday, June 12. All 250-300 fans concentrated on the travel bus as the police escort guided them to the front steps of the basketball arena, where four National Championship trophies were already on display. Once the team was in full view in front of the mass of people, two more National Championship trophies were added to the display. TexAgs.com was on hand to bring you complete coverage of the event, including speeches from President Loftin, Athletic Director Bill Byrne, Head Coach Pat Henry and a couple of senior leaders from both the men's and women's teams. After the ceremony, we were able to get interviews with the women's track star and senior leader Jessica Beard, along with the men's fastest 400m sprinter Tabarie Henry.
