Though rusty, Aggies shake off McNeese State

Saturday's game was Texas A&M's first in 10 days — and it showed. The Aggies were challenged at times in a rocky contest, but led by three double-digit scorers, moved to 8-2 with a 73-60 defeat of the Cowboys.

Hesitation and relaxation may have been factors in Texas A&M’s lackluster 73-60 college basketball victory over McNeese State on Saturday at Reed Arena.

But Alex Caruso thought it was more a matter of oxidation.

“It’s been 10 days since our last game and we haven’t had live action in a while,” the Aggies' sophomore said. “We were rusty.”

The stat sheet would seem to indicate otherwise.
