A&M graduate and current San Francisco Giants scout J. Paul Dodson joined Gabe Bock and Austin Meek via telephone on Monday to discuss the A&M players and signees chosen in the MLB draft last week.

The Aggies returned home after a swing out west for a mid-week matchup against Houston Baptist and kept up their hot-hitting ways to take a 7-2 victory. Jacob House notched three hits and four RBIs.

No. 5 A&M put itself in an early four-run hole, but a solid stretch of pitching, a series of timely hits and a refusal to quit led to nine unanswered scores and a win against Michigan State. The Ags improved to 11-1.

No. 5 A&M fell nine runs behind Northwestern State on Tuesday night, seemingly surrendering to its second loss of the season. Instead, it became the team's seventh win with timely hitting and a familiar bit of magic.
