Can't believe there isn't a thread for following our regional at Stanford. Ags started on the back and are off to a rough start at even through 9-12. Looks like Jamie had a hole in one on 17 and followed it up with a quadruple bogey on 18. Leaders are -16 and 5th place is currently -4.

We weren't as elite as I thought we would be this year but we are pretty young. Losing Sam and Paysee hurt more than I thought.

Ended up being a good day after a tough start on the back 9. Two holes in one is wild! I also just say the course is playing at only 6,727 yards. Even at a Par of 70, that's incredibly short for these guys.

It's really nice to see Aaron Pounds having an outstanding round - he's -3 on the back nine with no bogeys. The guy is tremendously talented and is starting to put it together.

We could be within striking distance of the lead if we can put together a similar front nine to yesterday.

we still have another round to play, but yes we have a 14 stroke cushion over Standford.

Aaron Pounds had a bogey 4 on hole #8. There have been 18 eagles so far and we have 6 of them, SMU gained 19 shots on Stanford in round 2 to get to 5th place.

They played the tougher back 9 first. They could close the gap with a great effort on front 9. Could be an 8 shot swing between front and back. We are in good shape but if Stanford AND Ole Miss get hot on the front, we'll have to keep it together coming in.

reminder to everyone how good our guys are....3 freshman did this in their State tourney last year, winning by 44 shots, shooting -39 as a team.



FYI, Woodlands Christian won again this year by "only" 10, shooting -16.

Great job by the team. They had a slow start on the first 9 holes Monday but kept playing and go to the finals. Stanford makes it by going 2 under on the last hole to Mississippi's 1 under on the last hole.
